Letters to Grass Stitchers
I picked up the smaller version of the Grass Stitcher at the Lesco dealer in Northeast Indianapolis back in March. Over the years I’ve been through almost every soil prep tool there has been. To this point the best was an ancient ripper that eventually rusted and fell apart. The Grass Stitcher should avoid that problem with the use of very tough poly tines. The overlapped tines do a great job of preparing the soil to the proper depth for turf seeding and they do it quick. Just a few passes does the trick. The handle is comfortable and the side handle extension allows for even better control and leverage. Incorporating the foot pad into the design is a godsend for cultivating heavy, dry clay.
It’s never the field that is the chore when seeding, it’s the edges and corners where the slice seeder won’t go. The Grass Stitcher makes short work of the edges and awkward spots with a minimum of effort. Proper soil preparation can easily double your rate of germination. The Grass Stitcher makes perfect prep quick and easy. It took a good beating this Spring with no signs of wear, so I’m guessing this tool will be with me a long time. Without doubt, the Stitcher paid for itself in saved time and improved results by the second job. It’s not a gadget, it’s the right tool for the job.

In the past when making lawn repairs I have used a Garden Weasel tool to loosen the soil. Its rolling tine concept is somewhat similar to the Grass Stitcher, but it is primarily intended to break up crusted soils in gardens and flower beds. However, it doesn’t work very well in turf and takes more physical effort than I want to exert. When I first saw your Grass Stitcher in “Turf” Magazine, I realized it represented the type of solution I was looking for and immediately looked up your Website. It was a no brainer for me to order the dual version.
Congratulations on developing a great product. Best Wishes in your business venture.

Received my double wide grass stitcher the day after labor day. Upon opening the box I was impressed with the quality of materials used in the construction.
I have used it to stitch through crab grass and to fill in areas I couldn’t get grass to grow using other methods. I recently leveled off a large pile of dirt in the back yard and stitched the entire area by hand I now have grass on the area. I did this the second week in October and while it took a while longer due to colder temperatures and lack of sunshine once it warmed a bit the seed germinated and now I have grass coming in. I will stitch the thin areas and reseed in the spring.
I have attached pics of a trouble spot.

I have to say, the grass stitcher works absolutely fantastic! Following the instructions on your website, I used the grass stitcher on my lawn to repair some bare spots and areas that had summer crabgrass. This product works as advertised and our lawn looks fantastic this spring – what a huge difference! Keep advertising your product, it works great and it will sell for sure. Keep in touch!

Hi Guys,
Your newsletter was very timely. I bought a Grass Stitcher at a homeshow last fall.
Last Monday, I gave the grass stitcher a tryout on a just few patches of hard dirt that never grew grass in the past, even after scratching at it with a metal rake.
It broke up the dirt with much less effort than I expected. I seeded and kept the area wet every day.I have to tell you, I was pleasantly surprised yesterday to see the grass growing there already.
Looks like I won’t be using the money-back guarantee.
